This year marks the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage and DfC is supporting a Centenary Celebration of Votes for Women, a day of events organised by the National Council of Women.

13.30 Wonderful world of early 20th century fashion with an entertaining historical talk by Dressmaker and Costume Historian, Meredith Towne
14.30 Local school children read poems written at a workshop with a poet from Apples and Snakes and show crafts made with Yvonne Preston
