Black Diamond Mixed Cotswold Morris are holding their first Day of Dance in Darlington on Saturday 14th April; and they hope to make it an annual event.

There will be Morris teams from as far away as Oxford, Retford and Lincoln, with other teams from York, Saltburn, Gt Ayton, Sadberge, Richmond, Durham, Hexham, Barnard Castle, Knaresborough, Glasgow and Skipton. They will be performing at various locations around the town starting at the Market Square from 10.15am, before all meeting back at the Market Square for a massed display of dancing.

The Black Diamond Mixed Cotswold Morris team has been going since 2016 and has 15 dancers with ages ranging from 13 to 70. They practise every Wednesday night between 7.30pm and 9.30pm in Voodoo Café bar on Skinnergate before retiring to a local hostelry.
