The Darlington Drum Festival is on Friday 16th August 2019 in the town centre from 11am-7pm.

This free event is part of Darlington’s Summer of Sound, supported by Darlington Borough Council.

The Darlington Drum Festival in the town centre is a full day of family-friendly performances and workshops in celebration of rhythm and drumming.

There will be many opportunities to learn new rhythms and styles of drumming. Look out for the Junk Band Jam, Colombian Rhythms Workshop, West African Drumming Workshop, Drum Circle, and the Brazilian Maracatu Drumming and Dance Workshop.
