Hear Royal Northern Sinfonia (RNS) out and about in the region in October, this time with a Romantic programme including a special ensemble arrangement of Mahler’s ‘Titan’ symphony.

RNS will perform at St Cuthbert’s Church, Darlington DL1 5QG, on Friday 18th October 2019 at 7.30pm.

Feel the full force and energy of this mighty symphony from just 15 players absolutely giving it their all. Tristan Gurney is the event’s violin/director. Wagner’s intensely personal Siegfried Idyll and Strauss’ opulent Capriccio Sextet complete this programme of three Romantic greats.

“The symphony must be like the world; it must embrace everything” – Gustav Mahler.
