Tees Cottage Water Pumping Station’s final open weekend of 2019 is on 5th and 6th October, from 11am-5pm each day.

Explore the Tees Cottage site on Coniscliffe Road, Darlington DL3 8TF, including Lancashire Boilers from 1902, a 1904 steam-powered Beam Engine and a 1914 gas engine, all in operation and still pumping water from the River Tees.

The October open days are the Autumn Gala Weekend which, in addition to the usual attractions, includes stationary engines, traction engines, vintage vehicles and craft demonstrations.
