How does an author write a big story, one that spans a long period of time, includes many characters and develops a complex plot of significant events?

Join novelist and creative writing tutor Tracey Iceton on this creative writing workshop/author talk for practical tips and advice. Participants will be guided through writing activities designed to get their big stories underway, expand smaller stories and/or finish their epic writing projects.

Drawing on experience of writing her Celtic Colours trilogy, Tracey explores the pros and cons of undertaking a ‘big story’ writing project and shares her approach to writing a series of epic novels.

Tracey will also read from her latest big story, White Leave of Peace, the concluding part of her Celtic Colours trilogy, and there will be an opportunity to take part in a Q&A, giving writers the chance to get their questions about ‘big story’ writing answered.
