The season of 2021 / 2022 of the Darlington Music Society there will be the first concert of the season on Saturday 27th November, The Sacconi Quartet.
This will be the only concert before Christmas, and then there will be 5 more concerts in the first 4 months of the year – between 3 to 5 weeks apart.
The concerts are always on Saturdays starting at 7.30 pm in the Central Hall of the Dolphin Centre and details of each of the concerts nearer the time but this is an overview of the forthcoming season.
There are concerts of Classical / Chamber Music. There will be quite a wide range of musical instruments – strings, a flute, woodwind instruments and a couple of pianos. A season ticket for these concerts costs £60.00 which can be obtained from the Treasurer Mr. R Tooze, Tel: (01325) 467163.
Alternatively you can purchase tickets for individual concerts which cost £15 each. People 25 years old and under can come to the concerts free!! This is a scheme of the ‘Cavatina Chamber Music Trust’ – in the hope that they ‘catch the music bug’ so-to-speak.
