Please see details below about the upcoming Darlington Meet-Up for Make Music Day 2022.
Darlington is the first place in the UK to be confirmed as a Great Music Place, and we’re hoping to encourage as many music makers, venue and public spaces in Darlington to take part as possible.
The Meet-Up is taking place at The Forum Music Studios, Borough Road, Darlington, DL1 1SG at 5.30pm on Tuesday 15th March. It will last about an hour.
The meeting will include:
- A presentation from Make Music Day Co-Director Rob Guest, introducing Make Music Day, it’s initiatives and projects, and a guide to getting involved.
- A presentation from Katie Hibbard, Darlington Area Manager for Durham Music Service, introducing some of the ideas they have for MMD 2022.
- Information from Stephen Wiper about how Creative Darlington can support independent venues to take part in the event.
An opportunity for you to ask questions, share ideas and start thinking about how to showcase Darlington as a Great Music Place.
