Darlington Arts Festival 2022

 
Darlington Arts Festival takes place annually and is co-ordinated by Darlington for Culture as a showcase for arts organisations, individuals, groups, activities and venues.
 
Every year, a large part of the festival is dedicated to writers with a variety of events for all types of writers, from new to established authors.
 
Darlington Art’s Festival will be held in Darlington’s Town Centre and other venues from Friday 20th to Sunday 22th May 2022.
 
There will be a giant marquee for sellers and exhibitors Friday, Saturday and Sunday alongside a variety of locations for performances and workshops throughout the town centre.

What you can expect to see at Darlington Arts Festival this year…

There will be a range of stalls in the marquee in Darlington Market Square for the whole weekend. Expect to see a wide range of craft stalls and you’ll be able to meet the traders and buy their wares. 

 

There will also be a whole host of events at the Friends Meeting House. Download programme.

 

 

An ART EXHIBITION will be held in the Friends Community Hub (former Footprints bookshop) on Skinnergate. There will be a number of local artists displaying their work including:

Saturday 21st  May

7:30pm in St Cuthbert’s Church – Darlington Choral Society with Handel’s Coronation Anthems.

7:30pm at The Forum. Live music with SHINE ON (paying Tribute To The Music Of Pink Floyd).

 

Sunday 22nd May

10am -3pm Darlington Artisan Market on East Row.
