On Saturday 7 April, Darlington New Orleans Jazz Club welcomes the hugely popular Savannah Jazz Band.
Savannah’s foot-tapping, heart-warming performance is packed with excitement and raw good music. They’re constantly adding new numbers to their extremely wide repertoire – and there might even be a dash of gospel and Johnny Cash-inspired country.
Darlington New Orleans Jazz Club meets at St Augustine’s Parish Centre, Darlington, and gigs start at 12.30pm sharp. St Augustine’s has a licensed bar, tea and coffee are available, and everyone is very welcome to bring their own food along for a picnic while the band is entertaining. There’s plenty of free onsite car parking. It’s also a short walk from bus stops on Tubwell Row and Darlington railway station.
