The next concert of the Darlington Music Society will be on Saturday 2nd April at the Dolphin Centre with the Aurora Wind Quintet.
The Aurora Wind Quintet were established in 1996. The quintet comprises of a flute, oboe, clarinet, horn & bassoon. They were prizewinners at the European chamber music competition, Musique d’Ensemble held in Paris in 2001.
The have been broadcast for BBC Radio 3 and performed in many major venues including the Purcell Room, Wigmore Hall, the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, and St. David’s Hall in Cardiff. They have produced at least 3 CDs.
